Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

You will lead the front end of engagement with Cyber Security for Vodafone Three. You will lead a small team of Demand Specialists to ensure that all demands for Cyber Security UK are efficiently dealt with and ensuring appropriate resources are assigned. The role also requires working with programme teams to ensure compliance with Cyber Security policies, standards and the security architecture.

  • Own and operate the SbD demand intake process, ensuring all requests are triaged, categorised, and assigned correctly.
  • Maintain visibility of all inflight SbD demand across portfolios, releases, and programmes.
  • Ensure demand is aligned to the right security architects or SMEs based on criticality and capacity.
  • Facilitate early engagement with squads, designers, architects, and programme teams.
  • Lead a small team of Demand Specialists.
  • Maintain the rolling Secure by Design pipeline, tracking deadlines, dependencies, and delivery impact.
  • Work with Portfolio / PMO teams to forecast upcoming demand and resource requirements.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions—e.g., demand smoothing, allocation adjustments, or process improvements.
  • Ensure all work is progressed through the Secure by Design assurance lifecycle (Discovery → High-Level Review → Detailed Design → Implementation Review).
  • Track risk assessments, findings, and remediation progress to closure.
  • Support governance forums with dashboards, highlight reports, and escalations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technology delivery teams and Secure by Design.
  • Manage expectations on timelines, scope, and depth of SbD engagement.
  • Drive improved ways of working between Cyber Security, Architecture, Engineering, and Programme Delivery.
  • Produce regular reporting on key KPIs:
    Demand volume, Demand turnaround time, Assurance lifecycle progress, Cyber risk trends, Resource utilisation.
  • Provide visibility of amber/red risks, impact on milestones, and required interventions.
