Cleaning Supervisor
Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

- Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
- Supervise cleaning staff.
- Work within a team and under own initiative.
- Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness, carrying out all daily, weekly and periodic tasks as directed.
- Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
- Keep all equipment clean, well maintained and safe.
- Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
- Maintain security – lock doors, follow lost property procedures, etc.
- Have full knowledge of the designated cleaning area, including agreed work specification and time allocated.
- Have working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
- Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
- Adhere to all Safeguarding Policies and raise any concerns in line with Mitie policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety while on school premises.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and continuously improving service delivery.
- Perform any other related duties within the job holder's capability, according to business needs.
- Cleaning experience preferred but training can be provided.
- Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
- Capable of working independently when appropriate.
- Open and honest.
- Self‑driven and determined.
- Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
