Cleaning Supervisor

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

• Undertake all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Supervise cleaning staff.
• Work within a team and under own initiative.
• Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness, carrying out all daily, weekly and periodic tasks as directed.
• Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Keep all equipment clean, well maintained and safe.
• Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Maintain security – lock doors, follow lost property procedures, etc.
• Have full knowledge of the designated cleaning area, including agreed work specification and time allocated.
• Have working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
• Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
• Adhere to all Safeguarding Policies and raise any concerns in line with Mitie policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety while on school premises.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and continuously improving service delivery.
• Perform any other related duties within the job holder's capability, according to business needs.

• Cleaning experience preferred but training can be provided.
• Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
• Capable of working independently when appropriate.
