We are looking for an Electronics Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team.

Electronics Assembly Operative

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assembling PCBs and electronic components to a high standard
  • Carrying out manual assembly, component placement and sub-assembly work
  • Hand soldering and operating SMT machinery, where trained
  • Following written work instructions, drawings and standard operating procedures
  • Carrying out visual inspections to identify defects or non-conformances
  • Completing production, quality and traceability records accurately
  • Handling electronic and ESD-sensitive components correctly
  • Working towards production targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area in line with 6S principles
  • Identifying and reporting any defects, shortages, process issues or safety concerns
  • Supporting other areas of the assembly team when required
  • Following all company quality, health & safety and environmental procedures
  • Wearing the appropriate PPE and ESD protection and working safely at all times
Electronics Assembly Operative Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience within an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge or experience of PCB assembly
  • Soldering experience on electrical components
  • Previous hand soldering experience
  • Experience working to quality standards and production targets
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures
  • Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, drawings and diagrams
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • A positive and reliable approach to work
Electronics Cable Assembler

Working Hours:
  • 40 hours per week
  • Day Shift: 07:45 – 16:45 Monday – Thursday, Friday 06:00 – 16:45
  • Evening Shift: 13:00 – 22:00, Fridays, 13:00 – 19:00
