What you’ll do

The Disclosures Officer role is key to ensuring Vodafone meets its’ legally mandated obligations under the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 and other lawful frameworks.

The Disclosures Team, as the operational arm of the Government Security Team, is responsible for providing support to government agencies, law enforcement and other agencies in the prevention/detection of crime and the recovery of vulnerable, life at risk individuals in a challenging and rapidly changing environment.

You will also

  • Prioritise high profile investigations, serious and organised crime and national security.
  • Be the liaison and management between all areas across the Vodafone business and, within law enforcement, government and cross industry.
  • Protect our customers and their data, only providing it upon a legally binding request and in compliance with applicable Vodafone policies.
  • Management of obligations and SLAs laid down under the Investigatory Powers Act on a daily, 24/7 basis
  • Provide expert 24/7 assistance and advice to LEAs/Blue Light Services and appropriate VF departments.
  • Manage working relationship with all UK Police Forces.
