Safeguarding Children’s Partnership Manager
The Role
As the Safeguarding Children's Partnership Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation and management of the West Berkshire Safeguarding Children's Partnership. You will be responsible for:
Responsibilities- Facilitating the work of the Partnership and ensuring effective collaboration between key agencies
- Coordinating the delivery of safeguarding activities and initiatives to protect children and young people
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements
- Providing high-quality advice and support to the Partnership Board
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and relevant legislation
In addition, you will work closely with other local partnerships, such as the Safer West Berkshire Partnership and the West Berkshire Health and Wellbeing Board, to promote the overall wellbeing and safety of children in our community.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in safeguarding children's issues
- Strong understanding of the legislative framework and statutory requirements related to child protection
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and agency representatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear recommendations
In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate others in the pursuit of improved outcomes for children and young people.
