Software Developer, Node.js, Full Stack Developer
An exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Software Developer to join a growing Fin Tech business developing market-leading financial planning and modelling technology used by major financial institutions across the UK.
You'll join a highly skilled engineering team working on modern, complex applications, with exposure to cloud technology, CI/CD, financial modelling, and AI-assisted software development.
This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving technical problems, taking ownership, and working in an environment where you're encouraged to build, improve and experiment.
Skills required:- Strong commercial Node.js, Type Script and Java Script experience
- Full-stack experience with React and Node.js
- Experience with MongoDB, Redis or similar technologies
- Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Understanding of modern software engineering and Agile development
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools would be highly beneficial
- Build and maintain applications using Type Script, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Work across the stack with React, Node.js, MongoDB and Redis
- Develop and improve financial modelling applications
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerised environments
- Use modern AI development tools to support coding, refactoring and debugging
- Review AI-generated code for security, performance and quality
- Develop automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Work closely with Product and business stakeholders
- Take ownership of technical problems through to resolution
