Class 2 Driver; Temp to Perm

Overview

We have a client specializing in compact plant equipment with a location in the Newbury area looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver. The client is a family-run business that has been in the plant equipment industry for nearly 40 years. They have eight depots around the UK. As part of this role you would be completing deliveries in Newbury and the surrounding area.

• Ensure the safe transport of various types of plant equipment.
• Aiding in the safe loading as well as unloading of plant equipment.
• Ensuring that all the relevant paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Completion of daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

• Would have proven experience in the plant hire, construction or a related industry.
• Hold a current Category C (Class
  2) license with a year s driving experience along with up to date CPC and valid Tachograph.
• Experience working both in a team as well as with clients.

This is a temp to perm role working Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week. The working hours are 07:00 - 16:30.
