Job Summary

Front Desk Spa Receptionist

Meraki Spa – Newburyport, MA

Meraki Spa is looking for highly motivated part-time receptionists to join our growing team! We are a busy spa located in a prime, high demographic location. We offer paid training and a competitive compensation package. Our team and guests have very high standards of professionalism. We are dedicated to quality and excellence. Customer service is our number one priority, and we’re looking for candidates that are polite, fashion forward and dedicated to helping others.

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 9:30 – 7;
Saturday 9:00 – 6:00;
Sunday 10:00 – 5. Schedules are flexible.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival
  • Check clients in and out for their scheduled service
  • Maintain cash register through proper open and close procedures, and communicate any discrepancies to management
  • Answer phone calls
  • Schedule new appointments and maintain client profiles
  • Explain services and retail products
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front area
  • Be comfortable occasionally working alone

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates must be friendly, outgoing, and passionate about the beauty industry
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must have retail sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent phone presence and communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and can work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Team oriented mentality
  • Working knowledge or ability to learn point of sale booking system and Microsoft Excel
