Position: MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiology

Overview

We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) professionals. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging technologies. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely medical interpretations to guide patient care and treatment decisions. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from conducting diagnostic imaging tests to collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
  • Communicate findings to referring physicians and consult with other specialists as needed.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of imaging procedures and results.
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans based on imaging results.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to radiologic technologists and other support staff.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and treatment options.
  • Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging tests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.

Schedule:

8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday

Call Requirement: 36 evenings per year (Monday-Thursday, 5p-10p), 1 weekend every 2 months (Friday 5p-Sunday 5p)

Multiple facilities

Case volume varies by specialty

Focus on MSK, chest, or body cases

Team Structure: 10-person group (6 DX, 1 mammo, 3 IR)

Must be board-certified
