About the Opportunity:
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our Newburyport Maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required.
Location: Newburyport, MA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on various CNC's: including but not limited to mill turn applications, and press/stamping machines.
- Handle basic repairs, light plumbing, and maintenance.
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to use tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in Maintenance Technician role, or related field.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment.
- Adaptable to changing business needs and skilled in problem-solving.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to frequently lift, stand, walk, bend, and other physical activities necessary to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
