The Industrial Machine Mechanic will be responsible for the efficient functioning of all maintenance-related activities in a manner consistent with the rules and policies established by Bradford & Bigelow. The Industrial Machine Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing, conducting machine repairs and preventive maintenance. • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for machinery.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems.
• Execute machine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Work with control systems and ensure proper functionality.
• Service motors and gearboxes.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Rigging equipment for moves.
• Dependability and reliability with respect to attendance and policy.

• Experience in the printing industry is preferred but not required.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for industrial machinery. Open to training and skill development.

• Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 100 lbs.
• Capable of maneuvering inside or around machines to perform repairs.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Operate heavy machinery (i.e. fork trucks, lifts, snow removal and lawn care equipment).
• Ability to tolerate being exposed to loud noises and moving machinery (PPE provided).

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
