As a CNC Maintenance Technician at Vulcan Forms you will be assigned to a variety of areas to support our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical CNC machine failures by disassembly and inspection of machine components. You may be part of manufacturing maintenance and/or shipping and receiving. The role is dependent on the existing and growing business needs. Our facility is environmentally controlled and committed to producing quality parts for aerospace, military, defense, satellite, and medical device clients.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot mechanical machine failures by disassembly and inspection of machine components.
- Install, repair, overhaul and maintain electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on manual and CNC machinery equipment.
- Utilize technical documentation (prints, manuals, specifications, etc.) to aid in troubleshooting.
- Perform preventive maintenance for facilities, industrial equipment, and machinery.
- Disassemble equipment and machinery to identify, remove, repair, or replace damaged or deteriorated components and reassemble equipment.
- Use hand power tools commonly used in electrical, electronic, metalworking, and mechanical trades.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of OSHA Lockout Tagout standard and procedures.
- 3+ years in a maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machines, electrical schematics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing facilities.
- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
- Must use safety protection when and where required.
Hourly pay range: $30–$34 per hour.
