Description

Under general supervision, responsible for the synthesis of chemicals through various routine manufacturing procedures including the operation of high‑pressure reactors. Responsible to work safely with process equipment and hazardous chemicals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible to execute tasks on the manufacturing floor through various routine manufacturing procedures including the operation of high‑pressure reactors.
  • Responsible to operate safely process equipment and work with hazardous chemicals.
  • Responsible for assembling, configuring and leak testing high‑pressure reactors.
  • Responsible for maintaining in good operational condition production equipment, including high‑pressure reactors, process piping and process valves.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area while observing stringent safety requirements.
  • Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate production, quality and safety records.
  • Responsible to follow and sustain company’s policies, internal procedures, systems and programs.
  • May perform computer‑based tasks as necessary such as working with Excel and Word software.
  • May perform other facilities duties of a similar complexity as requested, including support of building maintenance, support issues troubleshooting, housekeeping activities, assist Lab activities, and assisting with company’s environmental and safety programs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand tools.
  • Passing medical evaluation for, and the wearing of a respirator while working is required.
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience on chemical manufacturing floor or handling chemicals is a plus.
