CNC Maintenance Technician

As a CNCMaintenance Technician at Vulcan Forms you will be assigned to a variety of areas to support our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical CNC machine failures by disassembly and inspection of machine components. You may be part of manufacturing maintenance and/or shipping and receiving. The role is dependent on the existing and growing business needs. Arwood Machine operates in an environmentally controlled, state‑of‑the‑art facility committed to producing quality parts for our clients.

We manufacture products for several industries, including aerospace, military and defense, satellite, and medical devices.

• Troubleshoot mechanical machine failures by disassembly and inspection of Machine components.
• Install, repair, overhaul and maintain electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems on manual and CNC machinery equipment.
• Utilize technical documentation (prints, manuals, specifications, etc.) to aid in troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance for facilities, industrial equipment, and machinery.
• Dismantle equipment and machinery to identify, remove repair, and/ or replace damage or deteriorated components and reassemble equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand power tools commonly used in the electrical, electronic, metal working and mechanical trades.
• Solid understanding of OSHA Lockout Tagout Standard and Procedures

• 3+ years in a maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines, electrical schematics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing facilities.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
• Must use safety protection when and where required.

The hourly pay range for this position is $30-34/hr.
