Overview

Project Planner, Defence Infrastructure — Derby or Newcastle. Assystem is growing its Defence Infrastructure portfolio and seeks a dynamic, self-motivated planner to support project delivery. The role is based at Assystem offices in Derby or Newcastle with ad-hoc travel to client sites and other Assystem offices as required. Assystem supports a flexible working model, combining home and office work.

• Responsible for planning — production and management of project schedules, internally and externally.
• Coordinate work packages to the schedule, track progress against the schedule, manage resources, and coordinate sub-contractors.
• Review and approve subcontractor programmes.
• Interface with stakeholders to identify and report on progress, changes, risks and opportunities.
• Provide input to proposals relating to man-hour estimates and planning.
• Produce concise, accurate reports of project metrics including critical path analysis to the Defence Infrastructure Lead Team.

Based in Derby or Newcastle with occasional travel to client sites and other Assystem offices as required.
