Pertemps Stoke are currently looking for a Transport Admin Clerk to work out of their Client based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

• Providing general administrative support to the Transport and Logistics team
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the transport office
• Answering telephone calls and responding to emails from drivers, customers and internal departments
• Allocating and recording delivery and collection information
• Updating transport systems and databases with accurate information
• Preparing and processing delivery notes, manifests and other transport documentation
• Monitoring driver paperwork, including PODs (Proof of Delivery), timesheets and vehicle records
• Checking and processing driver timesheets and hours worked
• Liaising with drivers throughout their shifts to provide support and resolve queries

• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy transport environment
• Previous transport, logistics or administration experience would be advantageous.
• Flexibility to help on the PM Shift for annual leave cover

• Pay Rate: £13.53PH on days, £14.89PH on nights
• Days/Hours of work: 0500 – 1700, 4 on 4 off
