About the EmployerWe are a well-established medical device distributor with over 25 years of experience supplying high-quality products to the healthcare sector. Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, we are a small, friendly team of around 30 employees. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable service, strong supplier relationships, and excellent support to our customers across the UK.
What You'll Do- Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
- Manage incoming and outgoing email correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers via telephone and email
- Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems
- Support sales order processing, ensuring customer orders are accurately entered and processed in a timely manner
- Assist with purchasing administration, including raising purchase orders
- Chasing suppliers for lead times and overdue deliveries, and supporting resolution of supply issues
- Organising logistics for incoming and outgoing goods, including coordinating deliveries and collections
- Support the sales team with travel arrangements, preparation of samples, literature, and quotations
- Assist with preparing documents and reports
- Support management where required with administrative and operational tasks
- Support other departmental functions where required
- Could lead to a permanent position for the right person
