EAP Tutor Part Time

Position: EAP Tutor (Contract, Part Time)

We are currently looking for an EAP Tutor to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team at Keele University International College in Keele, Staffordshire.

Hours of Work:
Fixed-term contract, Part time

EAP Tutor Duties:
As an EAP Tutor, you will deliver high-quality English for Academic Purposes (EAP) lessons, facilitate seminars and assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support student engagement. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent module delivery, monitor student progress, and contribute to quality assurance activities to uphold our high academic standards.

EAP Tutor Requirements:

Previous teaching experience in English language instruction, particularly in Pre-sessional or Academic Skills modules
A university degree; ideally a Masters (or higher) in a relevant field
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Good IT skills, including data analysis and presentation
The ability to work effectively with students and staff from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds

EAP Tutor Benefits:

Hourly rate between £24 and £42 depending on qualifications and experience
Separate pay for meetings, marking, and additional responsibilities
Programme Leadership pay set at £15.50 for 3 hours per week
Holiday pay calculated % of all earnings
