Simply Education is working in partnership with an Ofsted‑rated Good secondary school in the Newcastle‑under‑Lyme area. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic PE Teacher to join their thriving department and inspire students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan and deliver a variety of sports and physical activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
• Provide constructive guidance to enhance student development.
• Work alongside colleagues to develop schemes of work and extracurricular opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to strengthen student progress.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and a passion for promoting fitness and well‑being.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Effective classroom and behaviour management techniques.
• Energy and patience, especially when working with students requiring additional support.

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE in line with the national curriculum.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

• Experience assisting students with SEN.
• Dedication to broadening access to education.
• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and school teams.
