Salary: £32,136 – £42,848 (Actual Salary £26,924 – £35,899)

Role PurposeProvide specialist support for learners with specific learning difficulties (SpLD) such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD and Asperger’s syndrome across a range of courses.
Responsibilities- Deliver one‑to‑one support through multi‑sensory, cumulative literacy programmes.
- Screen and conduct diagnostic interviews for SpLD.
- Prepare and adapt flexible learning materials to meet individual needs.
- Complete exam access arrangements assessments in accordance with JCQ guidelines and process applications in the JCQ Access arrangement online system.
- Assess and monitor progress, providing regular feedback to learners and staff.
- First degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., DTLLS, PGCE) or training in progress.
- Post‑graduate Diploma/Certificate in Specific Learning Difficulties (AMBDA) or working towards it preferred.
- Experience supporting learners with Asperger’s syndrome and other SpLDs.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive practice.
