History Teacher – Stoke-on-Trent
Start Date:
September 2026
We are recruiting a full-time History Teacher for a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves teaching History across KS3 and KS4 and is initially for one term, with the possibility of a longer-term placement.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan, assess and evaluate student learning.
- Support pupils to develop critical thinking and historical analysis skills.
- Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum and assessment plans.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching History at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for History and ability to engage and inspire students.
- Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for learners.
