Job Profile for Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a specialist manufacturer of bespoke engineered products based in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area.

This position is responsible for the design and development of bespoke mechanical products using Solid Works, supporting projects from initial concept through to manufacture. The role will involve producing detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings, ordering components, liaising with production and suppliers, and working closely within a small design office to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include designing bespoke mechanical products, producing accurate engineering drawings, ordering components, supporting manufacturing activities and ensuring projects are completed to agreed timescales and quality standards.
