To offer patients, clinical staff, attached and external agencies an efficient, reliable and courteous reception service and to provide administrative support to the practice in order that it may function effectively, and in accordance with practice policy on confidentiality. Customer service and communication forming an essential element of the role. To provide excellent team working skills to ensure a quality and efficient service is provided to patients and wider stakeholders.

Would you like to become a member of our Primary Care Services reception and administration team providing innovative care to our patient population as part of an outstanding CQC organisation? We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Medical Receptionist to join our team working 32 hours per week, between 8am and 6.30pm, two days a week, plus two 6 hr shifts (days to be agreed - but will fall Monday to Friday).
There is a requirement that additional hours are worked as needed, in agreement with management, to ensure the delivery of services between 8am and 6.30pm across all practices. As well as ability to support reception extended access provision at our Moorcroft and Holmcroft sites, one day per week until 8pm (as needed). The post will be based at Keele Practice.
Responding to the needs of our expanding group of Integrated practices, successful applicants will be required to provide regular rotation within our teams at Moorcroft Medical Centre and Moss Green Surgery in Hanley and Holmcroft Surgery in Stafford. Therefore the ability to drive and be adaptable to the demands of the service is a must.
