Ferco Seating is a highly respected global leader in cinema, theatre, stadium and auditorium seating.

We are a small, dedicated team renowned for providing exceptional seating and customer service and delivering successful projects for high profile UK clients including Arsenal FC and Odeon Cinemas.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced upholsterer to assist in setting up and run our upholstery and sewing operation based in Telford, Shropshire.

The Opportunity – Set up and lead our new Upholstery Department

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and dedicated Upholsterer who will be instrumental in setting up and running our new upholstery department, including sewing, cutting and finishing.

* Set up and equip the new department alongside the MD

* Carry out upholstery and reupholstery functions including pattern cutting and sewing

* Procurement of upholstery material, fabrics and other inventory

* Responsible for all production, ensuring on-time, high-quality output

* Work closely with the wider team on new products and samples

* Quotation assessment and preparation

* Responsible for goods in/out

Essential Requirements

* Proven experience with 5+ years in a hands-on upholstery role

* Excellent industrial sewing capability

* Exceptional attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship

* Strong customer focus and communication skills

* Solid understanding of materials, foams, fabrics and technical drawings

* Full UK driving licence is essential
