About the Role

We at Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering business based in Staffordshire. This is a permanent night shift opportunity offering excellent earning potential through shift premiums and overtime.

Salary & Benefits

£16.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

* Night shift premium paid at 1.33x basic rate

* Overtime paid at 1.5x basic rate

* Up to 7 hours overtime available per week

Working Hours (Night Shift)

Monday to Thursday:

* Monday to Wednesday:

* 18:00 – 04:30 (10 (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) 04:30 – 06:00 (1.5 )

* Thursday:

* 18:00 – 03:30 (9 ) 03:30 – 06:00 (2.5 )

Key Responsibilities

* Setting and operating CNC turning machines

* Editing offsets and making minor program adjustments

* Producing precision components to tight tolerances

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Carrying out self-inspection using measuring equipment

* Maintaining high quality and production standards

Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner

* Ability to set and operate CNC lathes independently

* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

* Experience using inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)

* High attention to detail

* Willingness to work permanent night shifts

Desirable

* Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens controls

* Programming knowledge

* Background in precision engineering environments
