BackgroundOur manufacturing facility in Keele is a crucial part of the business and where our products are produced for the global market.
As a production assistant, you will form part of the assembly team and work with accuracy to ensure the quality of our finished medical products.
Responsibilities- Wear appropriate PPE and gowns and work in a cleanroom environment
- Follow and adhere to written instructions, predominantly Batch Manufacturing records
- Fill in prime documentation
- Complete routine tasks within the department
- Ensure full training in all assigned tasks and highlight personal training gaps
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Report problems with quality process, equipment or materials to supervisor or deputy
- Comply with all policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements of Biocomposites
- Carry out cleaning and environmental monitoring to required standards
- Perform good housekeeping practices
- 12 months previous manufacturing experience in a production operative role
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
- Ability to work with precision and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to take initiative within a controlled working environment
- Ability to wear PPE and work within a clean room environment
- Previous experience in a highly regulated environment is advantageous
Keele Head Office, Monday‑Friday, 8.00‑4.00, 37.5 hours per week
