Background

Our manufacturing facility in Keele is a crucial part of the business and where our products are produced for the global market.

As a production assistant, you will form part of the assembly team and work with accuracy to ensure the quality of our finished medical products.

Responsibilities
  • Wear appropriate PPE and gowns and work in a cleanroom environment
  • Follow and adhere to written instructions, predominantly Batch Manufacturing records
  • Fill in prime documentation
  • Complete routine tasks within the department
  • Ensure full training in all assigned tasks and highlight personal training gaps
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
  • Report problems with quality process, equipment or materials to supervisor or deputy
  • Comply with all policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements of Biocomposites
  • Carry out cleaning and environmental monitoring to required standards
  • Perform good housekeeping practices
Required Experience
  • 12 months previous manufacturing experience in a production operative role
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice
  • Ability to work with precision and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative within a controlled working environment
  • Ability to wear PPE and work within a clean room environment
  • Previous experience in a highly regulated environment is advantageous
Location

Keele Head Office, Monday‑Friday, 8.00‑4.00, 37.5 hours per week
