Senior Staff Nurse – Band 6

An exciting opportunity to join the dynamic senior nursing team in the Discharge Lounge. This permanent position seeks a Band 6 Senior Clinical Staff Nurse who will act as a credible and professional role model and empower staff to develop to their maximum potential.

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrate excellent communication, motivation, and enthusiasm
• Take on managerial responsibility for a number of staff within the nursing team
• Lead nurse‑led care on a shift‑by‑shift basis
• Act as a role model, leading by example in all areas of clinical practice
• Take charge in the absence of other senior staff
• Manage and respond to complaints and Datix reports professionally
• Champion specific areas of departmental interest to support ongoing service development

• Minimum of 2 years post registration
• Leadership experience within nursing
