This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a skilled machinist or inspector with strong quality experience and the ability to program CMM machines from CAD models. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring precision-engineered components meet the highest quality standards.
Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer

- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
- 2 x 10-minute paid breaks
- 1 x 30-minute unpaid lunch break

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring precision-engineered components meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out detailed inspection of precision-engineered components.
- Program and operate CMM machines using CAD models.
- Produce accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Investigate and identify quality issues, supporting corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality performance.
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, CMM Programmer, or experienced Machinist with inspection knowledge.
- Ability to program CMM machines from CAD models.
- Experience using PC-DMIS software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurement techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Permanent position with a well-established engineering company.
- Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 - £20.00 per hour.
- Overtime available before and after shifts.
- Additional overtime available on Friday afternoons until 2:30pm.
