The Role

As a Stores Operative/Van Driver, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our projects running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for managing warehouse stock and ensuring materials reach our site teams safely and on time.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Receiving, checking, and securely storing incoming deliveries
Picking, packing, and dispatching materials accurately and efficiently
Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out regular stock checks
Loading and unloading flooring materials, tools, and consumables
Delivering materials to site operatives across the UK
Collecting surplus materials from completed projects
Returning, checking, and updating inventories for all goods received
Supporting safe warehouse organisation and housekeeping
Collecting goods from suppliers when required

Completing portable appliance testing (PAT) of electrical equipment
Compling with all health and safety procedures at all times
About You

We’re looking for someone practical, dependable, and safety-focused who takes pride in their work.

You will ideally have:

Previous warehouse or delivery experience
A full, clean UK driving licence (able to drive LWB/transit vans)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience or understanding of stock control systems
The ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely
A methodical and detail-focused approach
Desirable (but not essential):

PAT testing certification
Manual handling training
