As an Audit and Accounting Trainee at Robson Laidler, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the exciting worlds of audit, business innovation, and healthcare finance. TechnicalResponsibilities
Assist in Audit engagements – you will gain an understanding of audit sufficient to allow for the completion of audit testing.
Support Business Innovation – you will be involved in the preparation of company accounts where you will also support business owners with VAT returns and book-keeping. You will also develop an understanding of double entry accounting and of software systems such as Xero.
Assist the Healthcare accounting team – you will be involved in processing financial information, supporting the team with preparing working papers, and completing basic book-keeping. You will have opportunities to develop Xero skills and will gain an insight and understanding of the niche accounting area of GPs and Dentists.

- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (FTE). Additional holidays will accrue from your third year of being in our team

GCSE grades 5 or above in English and 6 or above in Maths
You will be expected to pass all exams.
Hours of WorkPermanent, Full Time – 36.5 hours
LocationNewcastle, Durham and Teesside.
