Overview
THIS ROLE:
Every day brings a new challenge, requiring strong teamwork, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines. The primary responsibility is to act as a day-to-day front office contact for designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will be part of a supportive team, own your tasks and proactively manage deliverables and resolve issues as they arise.
- Manage day-to-day relationships for designated Private Equity clients, including overseeing deliverables, agreeing timelines, and maintaining clear communication with CFOs/financial controllers.
- Review quarterly/annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with reporting standards (e.g., UK GAAP or IFRS) in collaboration with your Manager and Technical & Training teams.
- Validate investor drawdown and distribution calculations, ensuring accuracy in fund movements, proper allocation of proceeds, and clear communication of all cash activities to investors.
- Mentor and support team members while developing deep expertise in client-specific accounting frameworks (per LPA), ensuring all transactions are handled correctly and efficiently.
- Drive results by improving processes, balancing stakeholder needs, demonstrating sound decision-making and courage, and optimising workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- You will hold a higher education qualification (e.g., IATI) and be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, qualified by experience, or equivalent.
- You will bring 3+ years of experience in a professional office environment, ideally within financial services or an accounting practice managing multiple client relationships.
- You will demonstrate strong accounting expertise, including reviewing working papers and financial statements (with disclosures) or equivalent experience supported by CPD.
- You will have proven experience managing client relationships and resolving issues directly with clients in a professional manner.
- You will support and mentor junior team members while applying intermediate Excel skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy in your work.
