My client is seeking a highly organised and commercially focused Property Management Accounts Assistant to join their Commercial Property Management team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive property accounting service across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust financial controls, and exceptional client service.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver a comprehensive accounting service for a portfolio of commercial property clients.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with client and company requirements.
• Produce income and expenditure reports, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and service charge reconciliations.
• Manage landlord and tenant accounting transactions, including rent collections, recoveries, refunds, and adjustments.
• Support the processing and approval of supplier payments and client banking transactions.
• Process agent fees and prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Support tax-related reporting requirements where appropriate.
