Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
g2 Recruitment is seeking an Interim Closedown Support Accountant for a South West England local authority, to assist during year-end and accounts closure. The role calls for experience in local authority accounting, CIPFA guidelines, and statutory reporting.
Hybrid working and ASAP start, 4-6 month contract, inside IR35. The successful candidate will prepare year-end Statement of Accounts, manage accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, and liaise with auditors.
