Audit Senior

We are delighted to be partnering with a successful Practice with sites across the North East who, due to continued growth, are seeking a Qualified Audit Senior to join their existing team in either Newcastle or Durham.

The role:

• Manage and deliver statutory audits from planning through to completion, including leading on-site audit teams where required.
• Use digital audit tools and systems to drive efficiency, accuracy, and insight across engagements.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and supporting them with audit-related queries.
• Review work completed by junior team members and offer guidance, coaching and feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate closely with managers, senior managers and partners to ensure high-quality audit delivery.
• Complete assignments in line with internal quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in departmental discussions, contributing ideas to enhance audit processes and team performance.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing CPD.
• Attend client sites predominantly across the North-East and Yorkshire.
