• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships in accordance with relevant UK accounting standards, including FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Assist with the preparation of Corporation Tax computations and returns.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, and support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Undertake bookkeeping duties and maintain accurate accounting records using leading software such as Xero, Quick Books, or Sage.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries, request information, and provide ongoing support.
• Work closely with senior accountants and managers to ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Assist with the preparation of personal tax returns where required.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional support.

• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice (ideally 2+ years).
• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards and practical exposure to Corporation Tax, VAT, and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, Quick Books, or Sage.
• Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive, communicative approach.
