Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive Band 3 Admin Support Officer to join the multi-disciplinary (MDT) Harm Free Care (HFC) team.

This role will provide secretarial/administrative support to the teams within HFC and will give the post holder the opportunity to enhance their administration, IT and data collection skills.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual with good organisational and communication skills. A keen eye for detail will be crucial to provide support to the teams, so that they can maintain an efficient and effective service.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide secretarial and administration support across the Harm Free Care (HFC) MDT teams including the Tissue Viability and Falls services, Clinical Standards & Quality Improvement Lead and the Information & Data Manager for Patient Services.
  • Organise team diaries, take and transcribe minutes of meetings, create and maintain efficient and effective office filing and documentation systems.
  • Assist with the organisation of HFC events and liaise with Harm Free Care Leads across the Trust.
  • Respond to enquiries and ensure effective communication of messages both verbally and electronically.
  • Provide support to the team when planning meetings and teaching sessions.
