Position: Administrator, Asset Services (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

We have an exciting 9 month fixed term contract opportunity for an Administrator, Asset Services to join the team in our Newcastle office. You will be responsible for performing core operational and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, supporting daily team activities, and mitigating operational risk while maintaining data integrity.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

Ensure work is produced to a high level of accuracy, in a timely manner, and to relevant SLAs and operational standards (where defined).

Support line manager in ensuring departmental guides, processes, and procedures are current, as well as supporting the accurate production of MI and reporting.

Escalate any issues as appropriate to management in relation to risks, errors, and/or daily workload completion in a timely manner.

Understand the team goals and the relationship to wider group strategy.

Identify and highlight opportunities for simplification/innovation (Little ‘i’) via continuous improvements in working practices, in conjunction with Operations Initiatives.

Support delivery of projects where appropriate.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Understanding of the Financial Services sector.

Adaptable to change.

Time management skills and dealing with conflicting priorities.

Able to communicate professionally with all relevant stakeholders – Client-focused.

Good level of IT proficiency.

Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have

Previous administration experience within Financial Services/Wealth Management.
