Repairs and Maintenance Support Officer

Repairs and Maintenance Support Officer needed in U Paying £38.09 per  Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Repairs Coordination & Customer Service

• Act as the first point of contact for tenants and contractors regarding repairs.
• Log repairs accurately using the repairs or housing management system.
• Diagnose basic repairs to allocate the correct trade and priority.
• Book, rearrange and monitor appointments to ensure timely completion.
• Keep residents updated on repair progress, follow‑on works and delays.

• Raise purchase orders and track job status through to completion.
• Support the management of contractor performance and KPIs.
• Collate and maintain accurate records, compliance documents and reports.
• Assist with planned maintenance programmes, void works and service checks.

• Work closely with operatives, surveyors and external contractors.
• Help identify recurring repairs issues or service failures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Property Services team.
