Clerk​/Typist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Clerk Typist to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

• Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a multidisciplinary team including Consultants and Specialist Nurses.
• Liaise with clinical and non‑clinical professional staff to deliver a high standard of care and directly impact patient experience.
• Process E‑Referrals and respond to enquiries from patients, relatives and staff.
• Scan, photocopy and manage documentation.
• Book and manage appointments.
• Team working and maintaining accurate records.

• Self‑motivated, reliable and well‑organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated administrative experience with appropriate qualifications.
• Ability to work efficiently and methodically with good attention to detail.
• Capacity to prioritise workload effectively without direct supervision.
• Positive and proactive attitude, flexible to the needs of the service.
