Vehicle Technican

Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Bedford, has the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technicians at all skill levels to join their established workshop team. If you are a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or an MOT Tester, we would be interested in talking to you.

In return, we are offering competitive basic salaries, an uncapped bonus scheme, a 42‑hour working week, 4‑ or 5‑day shift patterns available, no Saturdays, and a great benefits package.

• Routine servicing, repairs and health checks to manufacturer standards
• Cam belt, clutch, gearbox & engine repairs/replacements
• Electrical & mechanical diagnostics
• New car PDI’s & used car multi‑point checks
• Warranty repairs
• MOT tests (if qualified to do so)

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• 12 months post‑apprenticeship experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Full UK driving licence
• Own your own tools

Desirable Requirements:

• Manufacturer accreditations/qualifications
• Franchised dealer vehicle technician experience
• MOT licence
• EV/Hybrid qualifications

• Basic salaries of £31,000 – £36,000 DOE
• On‑target earnings up to £50,000 DOE
• Paid overtime
• Manufacturer training programme including hybrid/EV training
• Opportunity to qualify as an MOT tester
