Position Overview

To strengthen our sales/business development teams, we are looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to develop new business sales opportunities for the technical, commercial and industrial recruitment teams.

Ideal candidates may have previous experience in sales and business development, or in the recruitment industry, and are eager to focus on the client side and generate new opportunities and vacancies for the recruitment teams.

Responsibilities
  • Work with internal recruitment teams to identify new commercial opportunities and clients.
  • Make a target of 50 calls per day, focusing on cold calls and client outreach.
  • Engage in new business sales activities.
  • Conduct extensive marketing research to target existing and new sectors.
  • Ensure high‑level and consistent business development activities are completed daily.
  • Attend sales meetings to deliver company presentations.
  • Complete daily and weekly management reports.
  • Develop and implement innovative ideas to support business growth.
  • Expand client base across a variety of commercial vertical markets.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working in business‑to‑business sales is essential.
  • A proven track record of winning new business.
  • A genuine desire to work in a business development role, motivated by achievement and developing new clients.
  • Previous experience in the recruitment industry is desirable.
  • Enjoyment of cold calling, attending client visits and generating new business.
  • Excellent listening skills.
