Salary: Trainee £26k+ and Consultant £35k+ plus uncapped bonus

Reed’s Procurement & Supply Chain division is a well‑established and growing specialism nationwide. Due to continued expansion, our Newcastle office is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of and develop a high‑potential Procurement desk across the Northeast market.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, high‑performing team with strong brand recognition and access to an extensive client and candidate network.

As a Recruitment Consultant within Procurement & Supply Chain, you will manage a full 360° desk, specialising in the recruitment of procurement professionals across a range of sectors including public sector, manufacturing, retail, and professional services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing relationships with SME and corporate clients
• Advising clients on market conditions, salary benchmarking, and hiring strategies within procurement
• Winning new business through proactive business development and referral generation
• Sourcing and headhunting procurement professionals across all levels (Buyer to Head of Procurement)
• Managing the end‑to‑end recruitment process
• Delivering a high‑quality, compliant service to both clients and candidates
