iO are now partnered with a leader in UAV technology who are now on the lookout for a Regulatory and Safety professional to join on a permanent basis. You will be ensuring compliance with aviation and safety standards across UK, Europe and the USA. Combining strategic regulatory engagement, operational authorisation management and safety oversight in a fast-paced industry.

• Securing operational authorisation from (CAA, MAA, EASA, FAA)
• Managing change process and permissions for drone operations.
• Administering Safety Management Systems and supporting hazard identification & risk assessments.
• Travel within the UK and Internationally, representing the business at regulatory meetings and industry events.

• Degree educated in Aviation, Safety or similar
• Understanding of UK and international regulatory framework (CAA, MAA, EASA, FAA)
• Experience in regulatory compliance, and safety management.
• Willingness to travel and work across jurisdictions.

This role is perfect for someone who has a solid understanding of the move from OCS to SORA more recently and comes with provable background in UAV / drone technology and associated regulations & compliance.

This role is mostly remote, however there will be some travel required to customer / client sites. Including some international travel for industry specific meetups and events.
