Safety Environment & Quality Officer - Statewide

• You will provide high level assurance activities for stakeholders across RRNM and broader regional maintenance areas, supporting compliance, governance and continual improvement of Safety, Environment and Quality systems.
• You will lead and participate in contractor management actitivites including contractor system reviews, risk, audit and assurance activities, providing interpretation and guidance on SEQ systems, legislative requirements and best practice to support consistent systems performance across RRNM operations.
• You will analyse and interrogate system performance data to prepare reports, identify trends and provide practical recommendations that support informed decision making, support assurance reporting and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, compliance and positive business outcomes.

• You bring strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• You’re recognised as a collaborative and detail-oriented professional, skilled at analysing information and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• You bring experience in Safety, Environment and Quality systems, governance and assurance to strengthen organisational performance and safety outcomes.
• You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
• You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.

This role supports a statewide operational team. Applicants may be based at any major RRNM base locations across NSW.
