Newcastle is seeking a dedicated Social Care Officer to take on the key responsibilities of a Family Time Worker, helping to create safe, positive and nurturing experiences for children and families during supervised family time.

• Facilitating and supervising family time sessions, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children at all times
• Supporting families to build and strengthen relationships in line with care plans
• Maintaining accurate, high-standard records and observations
• Working closely with Social Workers, Family Support Teams and partner agencies
• Providing transport for children and young people as required
• Contributing to a warm, supportive, and person-centred service

• A compassionate, reliable and proactive individual with experience in social care or working with children and families
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational abilities and a calm, professional approach
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use – this is essential
• Ability to work confidently and independently, as well as part of a supportive team
