Locum Social Work Advanced Practitioner needed for the Child Protection team in Newcastle upon Tyne with an hourly rate of £34.46. The role is within the Safe and Supported Teams, focusing on children who are under child in need, child protection, children in our care, and those having their adoption plans supported.

What You Will Do:

  • Undertake robust assessments of children’s needs to determine the best interventions to support them.
  • Lead case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings to coordinate child protection plans effectively.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to less-experienced team members to enhance their development.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies to ensure collaborative working practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for court and participate in legal proceedings as required.
