Role Overview
We are appointing experienced Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) with stock condition surveying experience to support a long-term residential surveying programme across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
The role involves completing EPCs and stock condition surveys across a mixed residential portfolio, with surveyors paid per completed survey.
Key Responsibilities
Complete Domestic Energy Assessments (EPCs)
Carry out residential stock condition surveys
Assess building fabric, components, and services
Identify defects and lifecycle condition
Capture survey data digitally using handheld devices
Take supporting photographic evidence
Work to agreed daily productivity targets
Follow safeguarding and access procedures
Ensure all surveys meet audit and quality standards
Requirements
Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
Experience completing stock condition surveys
Good understanding of residential construction
Confident using digital survey software
Enhanced DBS (valid and up to date)
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Able to work independently
