Freelance Site Manager High Rise Residential Scheme Newcastle

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major high‑rise residential development in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well‑established main contractor on a large‑scale city centre scheme, overseeing day‑to‑day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

• Managing daily site activities across the project
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
• Monitoring programme and progress against targets
• Conducting site inspections and quality checks
• Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting

• Proven experience managing high‑rise or large‑scale residential/commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management procedures
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to drive programme and maintain high safety standards
