We're seeking an experienced Senior MEP Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of mechanical and electrical packages on a major project. This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with strong experience in cost control, procurement, and contract administration within building services or MEP works. If you have excellent technical and commercial knowledge, this is an opportunity to play a key role in project success.

Client OverviewOur client is an established construction organisation, known for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors with a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
Responsibilities- Manage all commercial functions related to MEP packages from pre-contract through final account
- Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract and supplier agreements
- Produce accurate cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates
- Assess and manage commercial risks, providing recommendations to the project team
- Oversee valuations, payment applications, and change management processes
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and project schedules
- Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to support successful delivery
- Solid background as a Quantity/Commercial Surveyor, ideally at Senior level
- Proven experience managing MEP packages within major construction or building services projects
- Good knowledge of standard contract forms (NEC / JCT)
- Commercial acumen with strong analytical and negotiation skills
- IT proficiency and familiarity with cost management systems
