Position Overview:
Astin IT Solutions is seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs to support our business applications and enhance our clients' digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their graphic design skills across various platforms and mediums.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Conceptualize and create high-quality graphic designs for business applications, including but not limited to websites, mobile apps, software interfaces, and promotional materials.
- Develop visual assets such as logos, icons, infographics, and illustrations that align with brand guidelines and client specifications.
- Produce engaging and user-friendly designs that enhance the user experience and drive user interaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continually improve design quality and innovation.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into digital platforms and applications.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
- Communicate and present design concepts, ideas, and progress to internal teams and clients for feedback and approval.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on final designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Collaborate with external vendors or freelance designers as needed to support project deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a digital agency or software development environment.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent creativity and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Experience with responsive design principles and familiarity with UI/UX design concepts is a plus.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of graphic design projects across digital platforms and applications.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements.
